Explore the profound depths of human identity, purpose, and destiny as understood through the lens of Christian theology. This course offers a comprehensive journey into what it means to be human in relation to God.
In a world grappling with questions of identity, meaning, and belonging, understanding humanity from a theological perspective is more crucial than ever. Theological anthropology provides a foundational framework for exploring the intrinsic value of every person, the nature of sin and redemption, and our ultimate calling as beings created in the image of God. This course equips you with the insights necessary to navigate complex ethical dilemmas, foster deeper spiritual understanding, and engage meaningfully with contemporary culture.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to articulate key biblical and theological understandings of human nature, identity, and purpose. They will also be equipped to analyze contemporary issues related to personhood from a Christian worldview.
The course covers the doctrine of creation, the image of God (Imago Dei), the nature of sin, the person and work of Christ, the role of the Holy Spirit in sanctification, and the eschatological hope for humanity.
This course is ideal for students of theology, ministry leaders, educators, and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the Christian view of humanity.
